Louisiana Advocates for Immigrants in Detention is a volunteer organization dedicated to the abolition of immigrant detention in the United States. We cooperate with national organizations like Freedom for Immigrants and Raíces, and local groups in Louisiana and Mississippi like Voces Unidas.
The menu links at the top of this page give information about us and our activities, scope and focus. Hotlines contains the FFI hotlines detainees and families may need to call. To the right are links to information and resources for immigrants, sponsors, and activists. In the site we post news and background on our own activities, calls to action, and more. We are also on Facebook.
To join LA-AID or volunteer with us, please fill out this form. We are hoping new members will take on a pen-pal, but we have numerous other projects and needs as well.
